Request that your book be signed at the author's talk
Signed books make great gifts!!!
Did you know that it is possible to get a signed copy of our event books? We are best able to accommodate your request if you order signed copies at least 48 hours in advance
of the author's appearance. If you are interested in obtaining a signed book from
an event occurring tonight or tomorrow - or from an event that has already passed, please call the store at
202-364-1919 or 1-800-722-0790 to confirm availability and to ensure that we receive your order more quickly.
Pre-order a signed book by selecting the book from our events calendar and adding a request for a signed book in the order comments field.
You may pre-purchase any items from our upcoming in-store events calendar to be signed for you when the author is visiting us. We will hold pre-purchased books until the author arrives and then ship or hold them for you to pick-up as you prefer. Specify in your order comments field any requests for personalization or signing. Advance requests do receive preferential treatment by our staff.
Below is a partial list of autographed copies currently available at Politics & Prose. Many past events
also have small quantities remaining of signed stock. Even if you don't
see the titles listed below, please feel free to inquire about other books through the web ordering

Signed copies listed here are always limited and are subject to availability. Call or email
the bookstore to confirm stock status. First edition / first printings
are sometimes, but not always, available; indicate your preferences in
the "Order Comments" field, or ask our
booksellers for assistance.
When ordering online, please note that you MUST indicate that you want a
signed copy (and/or any other special handling) in the "Order Comments"
field at checkout, or you will receive an unsigned copy. As we sell out, new titles will be featured. Check back often!
